Teresa Byer

Proud new mama, Teresa Byer, is a wife, teacher, and life-long student of yoga.  She views the practice of yoga as a beautiful method of healing the body, stilling the mind, and connecting with our truest, highest selves. With her students, Teresa shares her understanding of yoga based on her studies with her beloved teachers and the experiences found within her personal practice. She’s found such peace from yoga and feels so blessed to be able to share it with the beautiful communities she calls home.

Her Mama & Baby class is designed to help mothers and babes through the postpartum period by aiding with healing and bonding.

Stephanie Grozelle

Stephanie Grozell is a certified Yoga & Pilates Instructor.  Her teaching reflects her passion for mind-body connection, developing self-awareness, and providing safe and progressive postures to build on strength, flexibility, and balance while preventing injury.
At the end of each class, her clients leave feeling nourished, mobile, centered, and ready to embrace the challenges on the other side of the studio door with compassion and awareness.

Over the past 3 years, in addition to teaching, Stephanie has been completing her Diploma of Acupuncture in Victoria, BC. During this time she pursued and gained comprehensive knowledge and practical experience that help her to incorporate new and old theories on health, body mechanics and self-care into to her classes. She believes that health and healing go hand-in-hand and that it is the role of the instructor to support their clients on their own personal journeys. While Stephanie feels her clients hold the key to success for their goals, she is honoured to hold space for them and offer guidance.

Stephanie has recently completed continuing education in Pre & Post Natal instruction as well as working with the pelvic floor.  She will be focusing on classes and private bookings to support clients specifically in these areas.

Michelle Nyholt

This inspiring woman is well-versed in many aspects of prenatal and post-natal care. Having graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2007 as a Holistic Health Practitioner, Michelle has studied Reflexology, Touch For Health and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.  After completing her degree, she decided to travel and spent a year touring Taiwan, Nepal, India, and Australia. She continued down the path of alternative healing therapies and, in 2012, she became certified to practice a Hawaiian Heartworks Massage called Lomi Lomi.

During her personal journey, Michelle discovered the work of a doula and fell in love with the role of supporting women during birth. You may recognize her from the Hypnobabies workshop we were offering and we are so thrilled she's stepping into the role of  yoga instructor for our prenatal yoga classes.

She is excited to be working with the Nurture Collective to bring yoga into more children's lives.
